​​​Volunteering at the club not only improves the facility, but also gives us a chance to get to know each other and helps to keep our membership-owned club in tip-top shape.

Members with fewer than 10 years of membership and who have not served on the CGSRC Board are required to volunteer four hours annually.

• Beginning this year, we are no longer asking members to submit a post-dated check for the $200 volunteer deposit. Instead, we will invoice you at the end of the season if your volunteer hours have not been completed. (Note that volunteer requirements do not apply to those that have 10+ years of membership.)

VOLUNTEER SUGGESTIONS

• Workdays: Projects may include trimming, weeding, groundskeeping, planting flowers, sanding and touching up paint, replenishing or raking the sand, deepcleaning, picnic table repair, and cleaning the pumphouse, clubhouse, tennis courts (or anything else you can think of). See the calendar for scheduled workdays.
• Snack Bar: A great way to complete your volunteer hours is to help with snack bar. 
• Social Functions: Volunteering during social events is another great way to get to know your fellow club members. We also welcome you to organize and sponsor club-wide events.
