Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting, or AGM, will be held on Monday, September 16 at 6:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity to meet the board members, get a report on 2024 activities, and hear an update on finances. This meeting will also include a vote for the 5 board seats that are up for election.
If you would like to run for a board position, please submit your name to the Board President ([email protected]) no later than September 5th to be included on the ballot. If you do not submit your name by the deadline, you may still nominate yourself at the meeting as a write-in candidate.
Please note that board members are elected to a seat on the Board, not a specific position. Once the members are elected, the Board collectively discusses and agrees on which members will fulfill specific positions. This is a very collaborative process and we never require a member to serve in a role they are not well-suited to. If you have any questions about what it’s like to be on the Board, please feel free to contact one of us.
