Hello College Greens Families
Although summer is in full swing, our College Greens Gators Swim Team
is winding down their 2011 season. I, and all of the board
members, would like to wish the swimmers good luck as they venture out
to Rocklin for the Suburban Swim League's Championships!

AUGUST 6TH @ 6PM @ THE VOLLEYBALL COURT
DEADLINE FOR SIGNUPS AND FEES WILL BE THURSDAY, AUGUST 4TH

- 4 vs. 4 volleyball games, double elimination/tournament style
- Ages 15 & up, with at least 2 Club members per team. Co-ed is okay
- 5 player maximum per team, $20/team
- Funds will be for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes

SOCIAL HAPPENINGS AT THE CLUB
Volleyball: 6:30 every Saturday evening
Come
join your Cabana Club friends every Saturday night at 6:30pm for some
volleyball. It's fun, casual, and a great way to meet fellow
members. Bring your friends!!!
Kid Camp Out: Saturday, Sept 10th
Please save the date for the last club event of the summer. The
Club closes @ 5pm. Set up at 6pm. Clean up is by 9am the
next morning. Cost = $10/kid. Because our 1st camp out
was cancelled due to rain, we will be announcing this year's T-shirt
contest winner during the September camp out!!
Octoberfest: Saturday, Oct 1st
Join us at the Club for beer and brauts to celebrate
Octoberfest! We will offer hot dogs and a movie in the clubhouse
for the kids to enjoy. There will be more information on this
event as the date nears.
Haunted Swamp Spooktacular: Saturday, Oct 29th
Mark your calendars for the College Greens event of the year!! If you would like to participate or volunteer for this event please contact Jolie Torres @ 369-8834 or Colleen Cardoso @ 225-8430. This is a great event to get those volunteer work hours earned while having some spooktacular fun!

AUGUST WORKDAY
 Our Director of Operations, Jason Raney and his assistant, Won Chang are looking for volunteers to help out on AUGUST 20TH @ 8am. Scheduled work days at the club are the perfect way to fulfill your mandatory volunteer hours .
Each time a family shows up to a work day, and has already
fulfilled their volunteer hours for the season, they will be
given a pass to bring four guests to the club free of charge...our
way of saying THNANK YOU! It is the collaborative efforts of all
of our members that makes the College Greens Swim & Racquet Club
the little gem in our community!!
Club House Rental
The
club is a great place for those summer birthday parties. If you
are interested in booking a party, please contact Jolie Torres.
For those of you that have already booked a party this season, please
have contracts and payments in at least 1 week prior to your
party. Thank you.

GATORS OFF TO SWIM CHAMPS!!!
The
Gators swim team will be competing in the Suburban Swim League
Championships @ Sierra College in Rocklin July 29th - 31st!!

GET FIT AT THE CLUB
Water Aerobics: Every Sunday and Wednesday evening from 6 - 6:30pm you can come to the pool for a FREE and refreshing workout!!!
Fitness Ranger Bootcamp: The
evening class has moved back to the grounds of the Cabana Club
(previously held at Bancroft School) and is held on Tuesday/Thursday
from 6pm - 7pm. We've arranged for very special pricing for our
members, so this just one more benefit of being a part of the Cabana
Club community. If you'd like information about joining in please email

Adult Lap Swimming: Just a reminder that the pool is open for adult lap swimming every night from 6pm - 7pm and Monday - Friday from noon - 1pm. The Monday - Friday afternoon session is STRICTLY for ADULTS ONLY. Children can not be in the pool during that time, even with adult supervision.
