PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Hello College Greens Families
It's hard to believe it's February already. April 16th (Opening Day) is
just a short 2 1/2 months away. Soon the club will be buzzing with the
sound of families enjoying the pool and the warm weather. But until
then...
I want to extend a great big THANK YOU to those members who came out a
few Saturdays ago to help finish the playground structure. The
structure was leveled and the concrete footings were poured. All we
need now is sand, sand and LOTS more sand, and the new playground will
be ready for all kids to enjoy. Also I'd like to thank all of our
members and friends who attended our annual crab feed. A great meal and
a great time was had by all, despite the weather, and as always, all
proceeds will go towards grounds and clubhouse improvements.
Don't forget we still have a few events before opening day. Come join
us for "Souper" Bowl Sunday. Bring your best soup / stew / chili and
compete for the coveted trophy and bragging rights, then watch the big
game with your friends in the clubhouse. We will most likely have one
or two workdays before opening day to get the club in shape, so put on
your grubbies and come out and spend some time with your friends and
help us polish up our club. Watch for e-vites in your email, and also
check the club website (www.collegegreens.net) for dates and times of workdays. Have a great February, and we hope to see you in March at one of the workdays.

Membership News
The Cabana Club currently has a small number of memberships available. Membership information and applications
are available online. Remember, for every family you refer that joins
your name will be entered in the drawing for a free one (1) year
membership to be drawn in September at the General meeting.
Congratulations to the McNamee family for winning the raffle for the
2011 season!
Annual Volunteer Deposits
must be paid by opening day (April 16th) unless you have fulfilled your
three hours per family by working at a Club workday or an approved
Social Function. Checks in the amount of $50 can be mailed or dropped
off at the Club in the secure drop box to the left of the entrance gate.
Payment Options:
To encourage all of our members to pay either through EFT or annually
we are offering two family guest passes (up to four guests each) to
each family that switches from their current monthly check to either
EFT or to an annual payment. As an added incentive, members who pay
annually receive one month free for a total of $605 instead of $660
annually. Download the form (PDF) or send me an email (membership@collegegreens.net) to let me know you would like to change your payment option.
Finally, if you have moved, changed phone numbers, email addresses or
had any changes to your family please make sure to contact me so I can
keep your information up to date.
